400 kVA generator
About 320 kW of running load at 0.8 power factor. Keep 20–25 % headroom for motor starting and Gulf heat — in practice roughly 256 kW continuous, for example around 106 split AC units of 2 tons, or the equivalent mix of lighting, pumps and equipment.
Roughly 44.8 L/h at 50 % load, 62.4 L/h at 75 % and 86.4 L/h at full load. Exact figures depend on the engine model; we include the manufacturer's fuel curve with every quotation.
Full-load current at 400 V three-phase is about 577 A, so a 630 A ATS is the usual match — or the main incoming breaker rating if that is larger. A 4-pole ATS is recommended where the generator neutral is separately earthed.
